The Connecticut AFL-CIO and the Area Labor Federations, in partnership with the national AFL-CIO, are hosting a Path to Power Political Candidate Training.
This training teaches union members how to run for public office to build power that will positively impact our communities. Topics covered include crafting an effective message, creating a campaign plan, fundraising, how to talk to targeted voters, and building a campaign team. This training is designed for people who might consider running for office from school board to municipal or state government.
