The Center for Construction Research and Training (CPWR) Survey
The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Electrical
Contractors Association (NECA) continue our commitment to promoting and embracing a culture
change throughout the Electrical Construction Industry (ECI). The IBEW and NECA fully support
identifying how the ECI can implement changes across policies, practices and initiatives to foster
an inclusive work environment that elevates respect, acceptance and equity.
The IBEW and NECA are partnering with The Center for Construction Research and Training
(CPWR) and invite all personnel to participate in a labor force survey to learn from construction
workers about their experiences of bullying and harassment in the trades/construction workplace.
The purpose of this survey is to better understand bullying and harassment so that action can be
taken to minimize it.
We encourage all IBEW Local Unions, NECA Chapters, JATCs, and AJATCs to distribute this
survey to construction workers broadly, to capture as wide an audience as possible. This survey
should not take more than 10 minutes to complete. Click or copy and paste the following link for
the survey: https://cpwr.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_51QzCRJiYtK12ES
The survey is voluntary and anonymous. Names and data will not be shared in any way that could
lead to individuals being identified.
If you have questions about the survey, please contact Chris Rodman at CPWR at
crodman@cpwr.com. This survey was approved by the CPWR Institutional Review Board (IRB).
If you have questions for the IRB please contact Chris Le at chrisle@CPWR.com. Thank you for
contributing to this effort.
